How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
When I joined CA Veracode in 2016, there were many foundational marketing programs put in place for our partners. In 2017 I continued to expand those programs, while putting a bit more rigor around our channel program, enablement initiatives, communications and infrastructure, including launching a new partner portal. I also helped to raise our profile in the general solution provider landscape through various digital programs and applying for and winning several awards for our robust partner program. With web application attacks being the most frequent incident pattern in confirmed breaches, partners see the value in our solutions and the dedication we have as a company and channel team to their success. We have seen a lot more engagement and a significant increase in opportunities brought to us by channel partners over the past year. This success can be attributed to having both industry-leading products and a program that supports and rewards them for partnering with CA Veracode.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
There is an opportunity for CA Veracode to continue to nurture and expand our partner network across the globe. Through our marketing efforts, I plan to support that expansion through new recruitment in white spaces and enablement initiatives, while continuing to drive regional demand generation programs with our partners.

What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
Last year marked my 15th year as a volunteer for the Pan Mass Challenge. While there is no award or commendation that goes with that milestone, I am truly honored to be part of the organization and dedicating my time to this outstanding event every year. Countless people and families have been affected by cancer, my own included, as well as some of my dearest friends. I plan to expand my support of this amazing organization in 2018.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
It's tough for me to point to a single woman as I have an amazing network of women whom I admire and have provided a positive influence in my life in different ways. This network includes former managers co-workers and friends, who have all provided (or continue to provide) inspiration, honesty, support and friendship.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
My advice would be to take advantage of all opportunities provided to you, as you never know where that path may lead and whom you may meet along the way.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
I would like to master something a bit more technical, like coding in HTML. While I work with and help to drive strategy for areas of our website, I always wish I knew more about what happens under the hood. Websites are foundational for any company or organization, and knowing more about the intricacies of how they are created would be interesting. Perhaps it's a bit of the geek in me.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
I am not one to read books that change your life or have some sort of profound impact. I read simply to enjoy the story and take me away from everyday life. One of the most wonderful books I read recently is The Orchid House by Lucinda Riley. I like historical fiction and this book wove the most beautiful and captivating story. I am now reading her series about the Seven Sisters and each book engrosses me in an enchanting story and is a great way to wind down after a long day.
