Biography and Background:
Georgia has managed government contracts since 1989, the last fifteen (19) years at TIG. During this time she conducted negotiations and managed contracts such as GSA contract, NIH CIO-CS, SEWP V, State of California Strategic Sourcing Contracts and multiple other state contracts. Since 2010, Everything Channel's CRN Magazine has recognized Ms. Vasilion as one of the top Women of the Channel. Vasilion has been instrumental in the growth of the company's public sector business. Georgia employs a "cradle to grave" approach, she develops and negotiates cost proposals, reviews and analyzes contract documents, provides contract support to the operations and accounting departments, acts as a contract liaison between the company and customer/vendors including participation in pre-contract discussions, contraction negotiations and contract changes. She also develops and prepares teaming agreements. How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Actively working with our leading OEM's to strategically align initiatives. Also working closely with our internal product champions to help them achieve the necessary skills to drive incremental business.
What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
In an effort to remove OEM and Channel conflict, the goal is to continual brand TIG within our partners 'communities, so TIG is recognized as a valuable partner.

I admire women who lead successful teams and are able to find balance in their lives.
What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
The advice I would give my 16-year self would be continue to put yourself in situation that challenge your comfort zone and failure is actually success in a different form.
If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
I like to learn to be a great story teller.

The Four Agreements. It speaks to the way you should live your life.
