Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Justine admires Mary Berry, the British food writer, TV star and philanthropist - most people will know her through the 'Great British Bake Off' TV Show. There are an incredible number of women to admire out there in the world, and Justine picked her as she demonstrates every day that you can live a vital, fulfilled and generous life through to your eighties. She seems to have absolute determination and a fearless approach to living her life. Age has no bearing on that.
What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Justine's best advice would be not to worry! At 16 we were all mired in exams and stress worrying about University, and she would have loved to remind her younger self to work hard, do her best, and the rest will take care of itself. Very few things in life are a one-way ticket and most things can be fixed with energy, effort and openness.
If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
Justine originally trained as an engineer and would love to dust off her programming expertise one day. She now works in cybersecurity which has to be one of the fastest moving and dynamic industries and technology and innovation are keeping society one step ahead of the bad guys. She'd love to spend some time relearning those skills.
What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
The best book that Justine read this past year is Red Rising by Pierce Brown. It's a science fiction novel that's the best fiction book she has read in years. Justine doesn't often have time to read anything non-business related, but this was such a fabulous book, she finished it in one weekend, followed by the other two books in the trilogy. It's exciting and thought provoking, surprising and sad, and an overall great read.
