Joan has 30 years in the channel working for Savin / Wells Fargo / Pitney Bowes /DLL/Sharp. as a MFG rep.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
By supporting the small to medium sized dealers, I have been able to grow the business and develop the channel.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
My goal is to grow my personal business in excess of 10% thru organic methods.

What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
Joan is the Co Founder of Love the Joy --enabling those in need to find a small piece of joy. She is also active in the Assistance League of Costa Mesa.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Charlene Malone was a role model as VP of Sales for Pitney Bowes. She has maintained a positive image in a male dominated business. Currently, Laura Blackmer is my role model.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Slow down to speed up. Listen to your heart not others.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
Event Coordinator (perhaps in retirement) to create events to generate income to support Love the Joy.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
To Sell is Human--Daniel H Pink It brought to light the fact that no matter what you do, you are in sales. It can be a strong push or a subtle reminder. Everyone sells...all the time.
