How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Working with our global program Vice President, I drive the traditional and digital marketing campaigns and communications for our EcoXpert channel program to increase its global brand awareness, share of voice, and social footprint. Developing the program's brand and positioning it as a global program within Schneider Electric country business, the program now has high brand visibility in each of our top countries. We have achieved a consistent incline in our website visits, averaging more than 4K per month; an established LinkedIn Group with more than 1/3 of the members being EcoXpert partners, a strong digital marketing campaign that has a reach of more than 2 million people and tens of thousands of impressions and engagements.
What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Through strategic marketing and communications efforts, my primary goal is to continue to build the brand awareness of EcoXpert so we can succeed in our global priorities and KPIs: 1. Recruit new partners to the program 2. Sell more to existing partners 3. Set up a program in countries where it is not yet deployed Additionally, my goal is to work with our EcoXpert partners to offer a marketing concierge service and marketing deployment funds to help them co-brand and differentiate themselves in the market place.

Indra Nooyi, Chairwoman and CEO of PepsiCo Nooyi made PepsiCo not only a pioneer in the world of branding and marketing impact, her corporate social responsibility stance is commendable and admirable. She is an active voice for sustainability and health and holds the PepsiCo executive staff and teams accountable to behave with these standards by making healthier products and enabling a positive impact on our environment. She is proudly passionate about sustainability and sincere in her efforts, "It's got to be a passion, it's got to be your calling." Nooyi walks the talk that she preaches, rarely found by CEOs.
What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Always strive to behave with integrity, respect, and kindness. These are the keys to happiness. Don't compare yourself to others, we all move and learn at our own pace. And that is what brings real value to the table. Be a leader, not a follower. Say "yes, and" instead of "yes, but." Always try. If you fail, you learned. If you don't try, you can't fail, so you can't learn.
If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
Strategic Alliances My company has massive growth off of mergers, acquisitions and strategic alliances. While I have supported some of these activities, I have not been involved deep enough to master the intricacies of how they form or the legalities behind these deals. I would like to master this area so that my marketing background can make an improvement on future SA activities.
What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
Fire and Fury, Michael Wolff This book, true accounts or embellished, gives an unprecedented perspective on the happenings during President Trump's first nine months or so in office. Well written with straight talk and candor, it unveils an inside view of what happens behind the doors of the most famous home in America. Love Trump, or hate him, this book is eye-opening and prompts intellectual discussion about the line between what is true and what is fake with not only our 45th president, but under the larger government politics umbrella.
