Biography and Background:
I have spent the majority of my career in the technology space working in both large organizations and small to mid-size technology start-ups. I spent eight years at Cisco Systems in various field and channel marketing roles, working with regional and national partners. In my last role before leaving Cisco I was a national partner account manager managing the relationships with three national partners equaling ~$600M in Cisco revenue. After Cisco I worked at Tenable Network Security supporting their field and channel organizations. I have spent the last 18 months at Rubrik where Ilead the channel and field marketing teams.Most recently, I've focused on building out Rubrik's channel marketing programs, processes, and infrastructure to support its hypergrowth.
How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
In the past year I have implemented a number of different programs that have benefited our channel partners. We launched a brand new self service campaigns portal called Rubrik Partner Marketing (RPM) that allows partners to cobrand and distribute to their database and track metrics to drive demand. We also kicked off an enablement series roadshow throughout NAM and EMEA for partner engineers. In addition to these programs, we hosted a Virtual Partner Conference in July and January. Last but not least, we relaunched our sales incentive program.
What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
During this coming fiscal year our goal is to take the channel business and program to the next level. We are focused on relaunching our sales and technical trainings.. We are doubling down on focus partners and investing in our service provider partners globally.
What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
On a personal note I admire my son's preschool teachers. I watch the commitment they have to growing my son's education while teaching him how to be a good person. It takes a special person to lead our next generation and mold them into the hard working, compassionate, and driven adults we hope they will be.
What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Don't give updon't ever give up! Times will be tough but you have the internal strength to make it through anything!
If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
Coding an app. As part of my job, providing easily accessible resources and consistent communication to partners is key. I have many times thought about creating an app to help me, and other partner marketers, with these aims.
What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
Hillary Clinton's book "What Happened" It is not often that you get an opportunity to sit back and reflect on a past experience and have the insight to objectively explain what went well and what went terribly wrong. It doesn't matter your political affiliation to appreciate the thought that went into the book.
