How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Increased investment in channel programs that drive profitable growth, created a reseller advisory council where the participants provide feedback and insights to help us continuously improve the programs and processes across our entire partner ecosystem.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Over the next year, NEC Display Solutions will continue to maintain its focus on achieving smart growth, improving programs & tools that enable the channel to sell our products and solutions, and improve internal processes to make it easier to do business with the company. We will launch new/revamp existing channel programs, launch new certifications and/or partner levels, and increase the amount of professional services going through partners.

What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
This past year, I was recognized as one of CRN'S 2017 Channel Chiefs.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Lyndsey Vonn is a woman I admire. Despite setbacks, she aspired to win a spot at this year's winter Olympic Games and put in the necessary work to pursue and achieve her dreams. She is a great role model and an example that we can overcome obstacles and roadblocks through persistence and determination.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
I would advise any young woman in today's workplace to set one or two big goals a year and focus on achieving them. Show initiative and proactively offer ideas to solve business problems. Finally, don't rely on the merit of your work to advance your career. Network and form relationships with your leaders and peers. Let them know your goals and accomplishments.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
As NEC Display Solutions migrates towards a more solutions centric business, we have to change our content strategy. By mastering the ability to create meaningful, relevant content that explains how our offering solves customer problems, we can capture buyers' attention and propel them to learn more, arm our partners and sellers with proof points, and generate more demand for the business.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
I'm embarrassed to admit that I haven't taken the time to read a book this past year.
