Biography and Background:
I have been very fortunate in my career to have worked with and for some of the brightest and supportive woman in the channel today. Like many of them, I have held a variety of sales & marketing roles that contribute to the success in my current position as Sr. Marketing Manager Enterprise East, Public Sector and Partner at MobileIron. Prior to MobileIron, I have held partner marketing positions at MSC.Software, Autodesk & Qlik.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Building on the foundation that I established in 2016, 2017 was focused on message alignment and market expansion through our partner alliances. Working with Channel Sales, I refined our engagements and investments to focus on activities mutually beneficial to us and the partners, to increase revenue for both organizations. Specifically focused on helping partners expand their digital footprint by offering a variety of joint campaigns, funded by MDF.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Continue to help our partners reach new customers and grow profitable cloud security businesses.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Tarana Burke, #MeToo founder, for having the courage to raise awareness of the pervasiveness of sexual harassment and assault.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Just get out there, insert yourself and be willing to learn.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
I would like to take the skills that I have in data analytics and expand them to track the granular details of a successful campaign to better understand where we are doing well and where to improve.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
The Language of Flowers by Vanessa Diffenbaugh is a great book. The main character, Victoria Jones, is well developed and relatable. The struggles of her past and the triumphs of her present contribute to a truly captivating story. Most interesting is the book's premise that flowers have particular meanings whether conveying love, envy, gratitude or understanding. A bit of romance made the book even more compelling. This book was enjoyable to read and learning about the Victorian era language of flowers was very interesting.
