How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
The industry continues to evolve, and as manufacturers, we have the responsibility to help our partners be as effective as possible and to ensure that they can take advantage of the changing environment. To this end, I redesigned and launched the Juniper's Partner Program in 2017. The redesign is to maximize partner profitability and drive product specialization. These new specializations were developed with business growth in mind and focus on delivering partners with maximum knowledge and opportunity in the critical areas of Cloud and Security.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
My goals for Juniper's channel business over the next year are to grow partner productivity and recruit new partners. The newly launched partner program has set the foundation and will help partners grow by focusing on technology specializations. I am also recruiting and nurturing new partners in next generation technologies such as Cloud.

What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
I have been recognized as one of the Top 100 Women in the Channel as well as a Channel Chief in 2017. I received both awards from The Channel Company as recognition of my innovation in the channel.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
The first woman who comes to mind is Oprah for speaking out on the #metoo movement. She spoke out very publicly and has handled the backlash with the utmost professionalism and integrity. She uses her power and often times her money for issues that matter.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Enjoy the moment and be happy with who you are. Life can change very quickly.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
Engineering skills- a combination of deep technical understanding and strong business acumen is a very valuable resource for organizations.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
I reread "To Kill a Mockingbird" and loved it. There are so many important lessons in it which seem more relevant today than when I read it the first time in high school. It's a beautiful story about curiority, forgiveness and integrity.
