Biography and Background:
As Jabra's Vice President of Distribution, I am able to tap into my many years of experience with the channel to transform our business and be the best vendor partner to our distributors. I am a passionate and trusted sales leader with over 22 years of experience in the IT channel driving continuous sales growth. I have grown my career in distribution from an early start at Ingram Micro as an individual sales contributor to managing a group of 50+ associates, generating $500M annually. I then went on to Okidata where I was recruited to launch a new reseller sales team where we successfully grew our business double digits in a declining market. Joining Jabra in early 2016 has been the highlight of my career. I am able to leverage my combined distribution and vendor experience to create a high performing organization that delivers profitable growth for both our shareholders and our partners.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
In 2017, I continued on the path of strengthening our overall business to both distributors and channel partners. I was given additional responsibility to take over our consumer and VXi distribution business last year and my team and I were able to deliver substantial growth by expanding our partner base and working with our high touch teams to deliver solutions for all user types.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Jabra's goal is to be the headset manufacturer of choice for our customers, resellers and distributors. We are the only vendor to have medical, professional and consumer grade audio endpoints and we want to be the best partner to our customers in all areas.

What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
Women of the Channel 2017 winner, CRN

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Sarah Gray, our head of channel marketing is someone who inspires me every day. She is on UK board of directors for the Microsoft IAMCP WIT, runs our global channel marketing team and is the mother of two small children. During the Microsoft Inspire event in July, Sarah presented to over 1500 attendees at the WIT lunch on what it meant for her to be bold. That inspired me to start our own Jabra Women's Network and in January 2018 Sarah and I were able to make that dream happen.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
To study abroad and experience life early. I have a passion for travel and wish I would have taken the opportunity to spread my wings at an earlier age to truly see all the world has to offer

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
With the workforce increasingly becoming disparate and more globalized, the need for collaborative technology to foster teamwork has never been greater. With half of the workforce predicted to work outside of a traditional office setting by 2020, understanding how to lead a collaborative team is a critical skill for anyone in a leadership position to master. Being able to deliver the same quality of work and results with a distributed workforce is essential for any business that wants to compete in tomorrow's workplace.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
This past year I read Make Your Bed: Little Things That Can Change Your Lifeand Maybe the World, by William McRaven. The book is a story about the experiences William, a former navy seal, endured and the triumphs and tribulations along the way. Through reading the book I feel I can handle any challenge thrown at me with determination, passion and strive to be the best I can be. The book taught me to try and live a meaningful life, where I can positively impact others.
