Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I've always admired women in any line of work that can positively command a room, emanate integrity and do what is right. Within Dell EMC, I've been fortunate to work with many women who possess these qualities. Two of whom I truly admire, and have had the opportunity to have as mentors and leaders, are Linda Connly and Denise Millard. Outside of the workplace, I've found myself very impressed with the poise and advocacy of Megan Markle. I'm excited to see what sort of role model she becomes for this generation.
What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Listen with the purpose of understanding, not with the purpose of responding. I still have to tell myself this twice a day!!
If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
Becoming a coder is very intriguing, but way over my head!
What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
I really enjoy reading and following fitness and health blogs - it's inspiring to see the journeys and transformations people go through to better their quality of life and health. I personally love to be active and live a healthy lifestyle reading up on workout ideas and food choices has made it easy and far more fun!
