Biography and Background:
I am proud to be the Director of Marketing at ADAPTURE, a 2017 CRN Triple Crown company. I manage marketing strategy, demand generation, branding, PR, and business communications for the organization. I also manage channel relationships and sales development. I have worked in the industry for 8 years; I love the IT business and all the fun challenges that come with working in such a fast-paced environment. I am from New Jersey but call Atlanta home. I studied Organizational Communication at The College of New Jersey, with minors in Professional Writing and Psychology. I grew up an ARMY brat and embody the term in every sense. I am loyal, ambitious, honest, stubborn, emotional, outspoken - and fiercely compassionate. I love what I do, and it shows! My hobbies include entrepreneurship, home decorating, reading, travelling to the Caribbean, and spending time with my family (especially my husband, Chad, and my dog, Daytona).

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
We had a great year at ADAPTURE! Winning the CRN Triple Crown was an amazing milestone for our growing organization. ADAPTURE just celebrated five years in business, and I am very proud of my team's contributions this past year. My team worked closely with Sales Operations to develop process improvements for our CRM system. These changes have made tracking marketing activity and campaigns much more streamlined and measurable. We also expanded our content marketing activities to drive website traffic and inbound leads. To augment these efforts, we added a Sales Development Representative to our team who has done great work driving top-of-the-funnel sales activity through outbound prospecting. I managed our SDR program and our implementation of Salesloft to enable more efficient outreach. Our partners saw measurable value very quickly. I also assumed responsibility for channel alignment initiatives this past year, increasing our use of partner MDF by more than 600% and our partner-driven MQLs by more than 300% in 6 months.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
We intend to continue utilizing our partners, in conjunction with our inbound marketing efforts and outbound SDR cadences, to further increase top-of-the-funnel sales activity. We have aggressive pipeline goals and intend to hit our revenue targets. Additionally, we want to continue to grow as a thought leader in the industry. Our technical team is among the best and brightest, and we want to promote their expertise and share their insight through various media channels and platforms.

What honors, awards, or commendations have you won over the past year?
While I was honored to be named as a 2017 Woman of the Channel, I am even prouder of all the accolades we achieved together as an organization this past year. We earned the CRN Triple Crown designation as an SP 500 company, a Fast Growth 150 honoree, and a Tech Elite 250 winner. We were also named to the ACG Fast 40, debuted on the Inc. 5000, and earned a place amongst Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Pacesetters" for 2017.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I admire the women I work alongside every day. The women of ADAPTURE and its affiliates are tough, brazen, outspoken, dedicated, and overall exceptional. They are the standard bearers for our organization, and very few would even think to argue that. Laura B., Susan B., Emily S., Tara B., Jenni W., Andra L., Lesley D., Laura H., Andrea K., Jacque M., and many others. They all inspire me every day by the way they keep this ship sailing!

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Always take the time to help another person when you recognize a chance to.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
I would love to learn move about application development and integrating software products. Being able to write my own integrations would save a lot of development money and research time! Although I discovered Zapier this year - what a game changer!

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
Daring Greatly by Brene Brown! I highly recommend it. It taught me lessons that helped me grow as a person, and rarely have I said that about a book. Reading this book made me a better communicator, wife, friend, and leader. There is strength and courage in vulnerability and allowing yourself to be truly seen by those who have rightfully earned your trust.
