Biography and Background:
As President and Director of Engineering, Robyn is responsible for developing and enforcing best practice policies. She maintains knowledge of industry standards and helps to design and implement IT solutions. Prior to joining Certified NETS, Robyn worked for a variety of organizations throughout the country as well as local businesses in St. Louis, including Medco Behavioral Care and Bridge Information Systems where she served as Network Manager. Robyn is a Microsoft Certified System Engineer, Novell Certified Network Engineer and Citrix Certified Network Administrator. She also holds a Masters in Telecommunications and a Masters in Information Management from Washington University.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Flexibility! We solely focused on making people happy. We are flexible about customizing service plans, customizing solutions and customizing standards. We are also focused on loyalty! We are focused on showing loyalty to customers and employees wherever possible. This is our contribution to positivity in our ecosystem.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Our goal is to continue to spread positivity to others. We will continue to make people happy and take pride in our workmanship. In an industry where technology is changing, security is more and more challenging, and competition matures - this remains our differentiating focus.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Danica Roem because as she says, "you can champion inclusion, you can champion equality and equity and you can win." She happens to be an openly transgender woman who won the election to Virginia's House of Delegates and beat an incumbent that had served for a quarter century.

What advice would you give your 16-year-old self?
Relax, focus on being kind, have fun, and make people happy.

If you could master any new job-related skill, what would it be and why?
I focus on improving my ability to grow and inspire leadership from those around me. I want to help build their confidence, ability to see the big picture, and understand pros and cons from other's perspective.

What's the best book you read this past year and why did you like it?
Ari Weinzweig's 'Guide to Good Leading' Series. I found the series inspiring. His vision for visioning is powerful. Also as a Michigan Alumni - Zingerman's has a nostalgic place in my heart.
