How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
I advanced the channel's business by growing 3 key industries for the channel: Automotive, Legal & Real Estate. As the leader of the teams running partnerships across these three industries, I recognized that the right team would be pivotal in attaining success. Each industry being at different levels of partnership maturity, required a different type of hire than those of the past. As such I hired strong and tenured Sales Partners with skills distinct from mine that would make our org stronger. This led to my team contributing the largest in revenue globally. Recognizing the ambiguity and complexity of Legal & Real Estate, I partnered with amazing partners & vertical conferences, which led to highly innovative marketing offers (including Virtual Reality, Waze, other) and created Platinum -award winning industries. Innovation, strong presentation skills and an inability to accept no resulted in other Google teams building channel partnerships outside of ads reaching out and asking for advice. This multiplier effect I am deeply proud of as I was able to use my years in the channel to help grow channels outside of Ad SMB. I continued to mentor women in the channel outside & inside Google which gave me great satisfaction.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
I plan to continue to drive the excellent revenue results I have driven to date across a very large and diverse book of business. I want to ensure that I balance headcount and revenue as I continue to challenge status quo and lead the team to new levels of growth across existing and new industries. I plan to grow my team to grow the executive relationships that will be pivotal to our success. Leaning on my open, honest and direct communication style, I will instigate change with our Google execs that is much needed to continue our growth.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
Take Charge: Chosen as one out of the 14 female leaders across our global organization to create a program to mentor female leaders to stretch and take charge of their careers. This year long program was amazing as it allowed for direct engagement with Google execs, stretch projects as well as a community of female leaders to lean on. I continued to be a keynote speaker across conferences and across all surveys was ranked as top 3 speaker. CSAT, PSAT & Manager Score: Top CSAT & PSAT & management score of 90%+ Parent of the Year at my daughter's school

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Madeline Albright -I had the chance to meet her during a channel conference and I admired her ability to be proud of her ambition, desire to succeed, need to recognize that women should help each other and ability to be both fierce and empathetic at the same time.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Find a mentor and a sponsor, there is a difference between the two and use both actively. Find a friend that comes from the space that can coach you informally re what you can do to succeed. Do not be afraid of making mistakes. They'll teach you much more than being perfect. The answer is not always black and white. Do your research, go with data deepdives but in the end trust your instinct.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
I just watched Beauty and the Beast so ofcourse I loved Belle. I'd like to be her when there's a big party and everyone is celebrating at the end of the movie not the beginning.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Would love to go to Kerala. I visited Hyderabad a while back and the locals all talked about how amazing the beaches in Kerala are. I love the Indian culture, food, people and would just love to experience all that and the beach getaway. Hope to go there some day whether it's expenses paid or not
