What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
I've been told I was the "Worlds Best Mom"... by my kids.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Oh there are so many right now I would have to say- Suzy Welch. Suzy Welch is graduate from Harvard University and a noted business journalist, TV commentator, and public speaker. She author of the New York Times bestseller 10-10-10: A Life Transforming Idea, a guide to values-driven decision making and the co- author of The Real Life MBA and Winning. Over the last several years she's written inspiring articles about work-life balance, career management, and other cultural issues for publications ranging from O, The Oprah Magazine to The Wall Street Journal.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Be confident in yourself to take more risks early on, even if it means you might stumble and skin your knees. I've found that sometimes I learn more from an occasional stumble. Ask for the big assignment, make that big move if it means more opportunity for growth and learning. As they say, every shot not taken is a missed one; in reality every risk I did take ultimately led to personal and professional development. Know that, in the end, it really does- "all work out" and the journey is sometimes the best part! Be bold, be confident, take risks.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
I wanted to say Uma Thurman as Beatix Kiddo in "Kill Bill" or Rooney Mara as Lisbeth Salander in "The Girl with the Dragon Tatto", because they are bad ass, smart, clever women- but their violent, sociopathic nature might leave me nauseous if even for one day. Therefore I went a completely different route with Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games", she is an intelligent, diligent empowered female who sets a strong example for her peers, who is brave, loyal, cleaver, scrappy and a hard working survivor- even when the odds are not in her favor!

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Yachting Darwin style off the coast of South America- on the Galapagos Islands at the eco digs: the Galapagos Safari Camp and I'd combine my trip with a cruise on the Grand Odyssey yacht. Why? To see playful sea lions, blue-footed boobies, giant tortoises, orcas, penguins, and iguanas, not to mention beautiful beaches and a Technicolor array of birds not found anywhere else.
