Biography and Background:
Over 30 years in the IT channel, working on all sides of the business -- solution providers, distributors, software & hardware vendors and consulting/research. Passionate about helping companies reach their fullest potential by leveraging the power of partnerships and giving "Channels" a seat at the CXO table.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Extensive channel research, revealing trends and opportunities within the solution provider community. Ran a variety of consulting engagements to help companies, large and small, harness the power of their partner ecosystem. Led panels, ran workshops and conducted webinars promoting channel trends and opportunities.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Help IT and OT manufacturers capitalize on the IoT convergence opportunities and enhance their partner ecosystems to pursue it, together. Expand our research and training offerings to reach more channel professionals and help them build the next generation of partner training & engagement strategies.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
Lots of repeat business from existing consulting and research clients!

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
CEO of Carnival Australia, Anne Sherry, is a super successful female CEO (in a pretty male-dominated regional culture) and the mom of a down syndrome son. She walks the work/life balance tightrope with grace. She also uses the insights learned from her son about leveraging diversity, overcoming obstacles and leadership fully in her business life. A fearless, driving and compassionate woman.!

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Study leadership and practice it. It will always pay off. Do as many different jobs as you can to understand work from every vantage point. Be humble and learn from everyone along the way. And lastly, have a plan for what you want to accomplish, and don't let anyone tell you it can't be done.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Probably any character Meryl Streep plays .... :-) But, actually, Mary Poppins might be a good choice. She's beautiful, can do magic, has a voice like an angel, takes "no" from nobody, and helps children and parents love each other more. Magic.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Hong Kong -- would love to explore this culture, the energy, the economics, the ancient practices. And, since I'm nearly 6 ft. I'd probably stand out doing so!
