How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
I lead a team of individuals whose charter is to work with new and existing partners and suppliers and identify ways we can build mutually beneficial relationships. Over the past year, we have all seen many significant changes in our industry. My role gives me the opportunity to connect Arrow's value and channel dedicated resources to support our partners' strategic initiatives and grow their business. I am extremely proud of the new partnerships we have built and the tremendous momentum we are seeing as a result of our executive support for my team's focus and commitment.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Customer expansion is my primary goal in 2017. This encompasses driving growth within emerging markets, new suppliers, new types of partners and strategic initiatives such as cloud and IoT.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
Arrow President's Club Arrow Global Leadership Academy

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I have been very fortunate to have several great mentors who have encouraged me to be strong, and confidant in all areas of my life (they know who they are!). I admire any woman who can take on career and family and still maintain a sense of humor.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Hang in there!! No one choses a career in technology because it's easy. Find the people who are willing to invest in your professional development. Look for new opportunities that you can drive and raise your hand. Our industry changes constantly and there is always something new to take on. It will never be boring! I owned a flower shop before getting into the channel but thanks to the many talented people that gave me a shot or helped me grow my career in some way, I have found something I really enjoy.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Karen Blixen in Out of Africa. She was incredibly strong and managed to accomplish things that were unheard of for woman at that time.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Lake Como, Italy. The mountains, the lake, great architecture and amazing food and wine. What else could one person want?
