How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
The Riverbed channel team is a true collaboration. However, I believe my experience in professional services and building solutions in and around the channel have impacted and accelerated our approach to these value-added components of our strategy and program. My background in developing value based programs, channel focused services and solutions while focusing on the channel/customer engagement help build out the Riverbed vision.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Our goals for the next year are to help partners expand across three areas: building an embedded solution and services program, driving customer and partner engagement, and accelerating recurring revenue in smaller and enterprise mid-markets. There's now a market shift as technology decisions evolve from IT-buyer to business-buyer. While we continue to focus on traditional go-to-market efforts, we are committed to investing in value-added channel programs, helping partners build embedded solutions & services and by continued enablement of our channel. We'll help our channel build business, services, solutions and go-to-market offerings by leveraging our next-generation, market-leading technology and channel programs.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
CRN Channel Chief for 2016 and 2017. Appointed to Channel Focus Advisory Board (Channel Focus)

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I'd like to recognize my fellow women in the channel - I've been a participating member of this organization for at least six years and receive great support, inspiration and motivation from all these powerful women doing powerful things for their career and families.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
I would advise to be clear on your goals, your work and the relationships that you need for the person you aspire to be. Also, understand your voice. By this I mean, be conscious of what you are trying to portray about yourself and the image that you exude to support your goals; focus on what you know, what you want to say and who is your audience in support of your goals. Finally, build your network. The relationships you build in your career can often be invaluable when you least expect it.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Matt Damon in The Martian - What an adventure!

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Anyone who knows me knows I have been most everywhere, nine times. But I've never been to Marrakesh. I'd love to see the architecture, culture and complexity - all my favorite things.
