Biography and Background:
I lead a sales support team responsible for onboarding and activating prospective business customers who wish to purchase and resell AT&T IP Network, Mobility, and Cloud products. My team also spearheads account alignment, results reporting, and data analytics for the Sales and Partner Management organization, a division of AT&T Partner Solutions. I also oversee the implementation of new process development and improvement in order to drive efficiencies across the business unit.
How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
I lead the Inside Sales Enablement team (ISE) and the Sales Operations team for AT&T Partner Exchange™. We support solution providers as well as wholesale customers who want to more easily tap into mid-market opportunities through AT&T Partner Exchange. My ISE team maintains responsibility for onboarding, activating and training solution providers about AT&T products and services new to AT&T Partner Exchange. They also enable the long-term sustainability of our customers by providing inside sales support to our Channel Account Managers and Wholesale Territory Acquisition Managers. My Sales Operations team is focused on the design, development and implementation of an integrated, yet simplified sales compensation plan, which allows our sellers to focus on the solution provider's growth, not ours. The team spearheads account alignment, results reporting and data analytics. In addition, we oversee the implementation of new process development and improvement in order to drive efficiencies across our organization. Since creating AT&T Partner Solutions, we've also accelerated momentum within our integrated sales and customer management team. The resulting organizational structure enables more flexibility for customers to choose how they want to work with us.
What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Our collaborative approach, innovative technology and open, agile culture have driven AT&T Partner Exchange's success thus far. My goal is to maintain this mindset, build on our customer-centric focus, and further transform how solution providers and wholesale customers engage with AT&T. This includes efforts to drive an improved onboarding experience and additional activation around self-service access to our products and services. As a leadership team, we've also upped our challenge to our sales teams to surpass customers' needs and drive revenue.
What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
I was recognized as one of the 2016 Women of the Channel by CRN for being an influential leader and championing change in the channel. I was also awarded the AT&T Partner Solutions Leadership Award in January 2017, which recognizes individuals for significant leadership impact across the business. Honorees are recognized for their ability to motivate and inspire others, create a compelling vision for the future and setting a high standard of integrity.
Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
My role model is Brooks McCorcle, President of AT&T Partner Solutions. I appreciate her ability to motivate a group beyond what they believe is feasible. She created a team, identified a vision, and drove to achievement, which is an amazing feat to come from a single leader. She also understands the importance of developing a healthy balance between work and life.
What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
You have to go for it! Don't be embarrassed to bring your female perspective - diversity in thought elevates an entire teams' performance. You have the ability to drive innovation and accelerate growth. Women play a vital role in enhancing team performance by naturally bringing this thought diversity, especially to a technology-based conversation. In the workplace, I also recommend being be holistically courageous - in how you approach problems, in how you ask for help, in events when you choose to listen instead of speak, and in exercising judgment, especially when against the grain of the crowd.
If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. I've been a fan of the movie for a long time. One of the things I love is that, at its heart, it's the story of woman who starts off desperate to do anything to be someone's wife, but ends up finding her own worth through her professional passion.
If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
I love to travel and always have a list of places in mind - depending on where I am in life. Right now, I would pick Santorini, Greece. Santorini is not only a beautiful destination, but it has a special place in my heart. My husband is of Greek decent. His grandmother, Yia, Yia, speaks Greek, bakes incredible Baklava, and grew up practicing Greek Orthodox. I would love to learn more about her heritage and experience Greek culture first hand.
