How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Two years ago the company made a shift from a regional, direct selling, IT organization to a 100% channel only services company. In order to make the transition successful we realized that a white-glove approach to support and onboarding would be critical to the partner experience. As Partner Community Manager, I've been able advocate on behalf of our IT service provider partners. In this role, I've built training programs, onboarding processes and front end sales support to help grow our channel. We are proud to say that we've grown our partner base by over 300% year over year and we maintain over a 98% retention rate.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
To continue building products for IT Service Providers and Cloud Service Providers to realize the operational and economical benefits of cloud computing. For them to leverage the best in breed cloud infrastructure and to easily move their clients' on-premises infrastructure seamlessly and manage it in the cloud, the same way.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
In 2016 I was awarded our President's award for Partner Satisfaction. This award is assigned internally to the team member that consistently goes above and beyond while maintaining high marks for customer retention and overall partner satisfaction.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Sheryl Sandberg - For the fifth consecutive year, Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg has been named the most powerful woman in technology on the Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Women list, placing at No. 7 on the list overall. With a personal fortune of $1.4 billion, Sandberg is powerful not only as a billionaire and top executive at the world's fifth most valuable brand, but also as a voice for female empowerment in the workplace and shared responsibilities at home.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Start Early, Study Hard and Assert Yourself! The sooner you can start studying technology the better. In our space, the landscape is constantly changing being adaptable and knowledgeable are valuable skills that can help you succeed! I.T. is a male dominated industry. If you can speak intelligently and assert yourself then you will quickly earn the respect of your peers and advance your career.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Princess Leia Organa of Alderaan, later known as General Leia Organa (Star Wars Series) - Carrie Fisher's Leia is a sci-fi geek's dream, the "hottie who can slaughter a super-slug while dressed in a bikini." Princess Leia is a powerful, respected female character. She shows that a woman can be a leader, she's feminine and strong at the same time and she is still one of the greatest role models for women of all ages.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Singapore, Gardens By The Bay - Gardens by the Bay is a 101 acre waterfront garden including the Cloud Forest, Supertree Grove, Flower Dome, OCBC Skyway and Bay East Garden. It encompases nature (contains more than 1,000,000 plants), technology (Garden Rhapsody light and sound shows with futuristic Supertrees 16 storeys in height) , sustainability efforts (two glass biomes and cutting-edge technologies for energy-efficient solutions) and scenic tranquility all in one magical place.
