How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
My team and I have consistently helped to attract new leads and nurture current customers through digital campaigns and events. Through this increase of efforts, the sales team has been able to close more deals and increase revenue for the company. In fact, our team executed over 17 events in 2016 with over 2000 attendees.
What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Our goals are to enable sales with leads and events to help them increase revenue with our partners and the company. We will execute multiple digital campaigns, 20+ events as well as other marketing efforts to assist in this goal.
What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
This year, our company has been awarded the Master Collaboration Specialization with the help of myself and my team.
Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
It's really hard for me to narrow down to one. I think I'll stick to a category...Moms. I admire the working mom, who struggles every day with choosing their time and talents and spending time with their family. I admire the stay at home mom, who dedicates her life to her family (and doesn't get the luxury of lunching "out!") I admire the single mom, who raises and supports a child on her own. In short...moms are amazing and I am lucky to be one!
What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
I think young women are definitely lacking in the interest of technology because they haven't really been exposed in the business sense. I would remind them that technology is all around them, and they are already making the decisions on how it evolves. Who wouldn't want to continue to be a part of this exciting, ever-changing digital world?!
If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Alice in Wonderland! Wouldn't it be delightful to have a day in a magical wonderland filled with talking flowers, caterpillars and the Cheshire cat?! I know this is a TV character, but I also think it would be awesome to be Michonne from The Walking Dead for a day...she is a true badass. (Although the zombies would not be all that great!)
If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Modena, Italy. I am a big foodie and an opportunity to eat at Osteria Francescanca would be truly amazing. It is now #2 on the top 50 best restaurants in the world, but made the #1 spot several years in a row. Besides it's beautiful architecture, Modena is home to the best balsamic vinegars, so it would be exciting to see how they are made and try the finest in the world. (Now I'm getting hungry!)
