Biography and Background:
Deana founded I.T. Solutions of South Florida, located in Palm Beach County, in 2004. For the past thirteen years, she has fulfilled various roles in the company, using a hands-on approach to develop her business into one of South Florida's premier IT service providers. Prior to founding the company, she worked in Environmental Consulting. She is currently a board member of Nonprofits First and The Central Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce. She serves on several committees for Leadership Palm Beach County, Families First of Palm Beach County, and Center for Child Counseling. She is also involved with the Palm Beach State College Dean's Bachelor's Degree Community Advisory Board. Deana was the recipient of the Women of Worth (WOW) Stiletto Award - Entrepreneur Category from the Central Palm Beach County Community Foundation in 2014. She was also named a "Woman to Watch" by Women in Technology International-South Florida (WITI) in November 2010. In addition, she was nominated for an Athena Award from the Chamber of the Palm Beaches in 2011 and 2014, has volunteered as a guest lecturer at Lynn University. With a passion for "green" technology, Deana guides businesses to make small changes that will positively affect us all.
How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Sustaining a company culture as a top priority and grew the business by 35%. I lead my company with passion from the heart. I am very involved in the I.T. Channel nationally, which allows my company to continually pursue new technology within the I.T. industry, in order to be cutting edge, innovative technology leaders. I am passionate about helping other Small Businesses in South Florida develop cost effective solutions, by implementing the best in- class technology to improve their bottom line. I strive daily to motivate and encourage my dedicated staff, and do my best to make a positive contribution to my local community.
What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
To sustain a winning company culture that creates a place where people love to come in and work. To grow our team using the channels best in breed solutions.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Work hard ALWAYS! But always sustain healthy work/life balance, do something you love, ALWAYS be honest and ALWAYS treat people the way you want to be treated. Stay on top of your industry especially in the ever-changing Information Technology Industry. Be ready and willing to be ahead of the trends. Be committed to yourself to go above and beyond what is expected.
If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Cinderella- Simply for the animals that come to clean when I sing.
If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Fiji- Beautiful blue waters & the ultimate island life. Relaxing and Peaceful!
