Vicki oversees GBG|Loqate's Global Channel Strategy. After serving in various channel sales leadership and marketing roles over a 20 year period, Vicki brings extensive experience building successful Channel Sales and Marketing channels, developing teams and delivering sales growth within fast-paced industries.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
In the last year I focused on building our channel and programs and enhancing our channel assets to enable our partners for growth. We continued our participation at Industry Trade Shows for lead generation, market awareness, and thought leadership. We sponsored our Partners' Conferences to support and co-market with them to maximize their sales potential.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
Our goals over the next year are to expand into emerging global markets and to extend our sales arm by partnering with market leaders. We are introducing more services to our partners that will help them grow their business and we are adding more marketing benefits to our 'Connections' Partner Program. We are also launching our Partner Portal that will facilitate partner Enablement, Marketing and Sales tools.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
Professionally...Women of the Channel - 2016 and personally...1st Place in a Women's Golf Tournament that I am fortunate to play in (annually) in Northern California.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I recently attended the Watermark Conference for Women in Silicon Valley - I had the pleasure of seeing and listening to both Sheryl Sandberg and Viola Davisboth of these women have had traumatic episodes in their lives, yet persevered and stayed positive and stayed the course. I admire both for their guts and ultimate path they led to Success.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
Always ask for want you want - but always be prepared. Always think 'out of the box' as a new and different idea is always welcome. Always think 'Big Picture' as so many young people only look at the task at handI'm suggesting that you expand your awareness and see what happens. Always be reading a book - and watch TED talks... never stop learning. But Most Important - Be Passionate about your chosen career - then your job isn't a job it's actually a place you go to everyday to do what you love and hopefully have fun.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
A female version of Tony Stark in Iron Man. A billionaire industrialist ...after Tony created an advanced suit of armor to save his life and escape captivity...he used his money and intelligence to make the world a safer and better place. Who wouldn't want to do that? Plus I would get to drive fast cars and FLY!

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Florence, ITALY Hidden away in the Tuscan hills, full of inspired artists like Michelangelo (David) and Brunelleschi (the Duomo) I would never get tired of walking the town and embracing the beautiful art and historical buildings. I would jump right into enjoying the Italian food, wine, shopping and gorgeous sunsets.
