How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
I served as marketing manager for INetU prior to ViaWest, acquiring the business in December 2015. As a result of the acquisition, I've spent the past year working with ViaWest's legacy channel team and the broader sales organization to merge INetU's channel program with the ViaWest Partner Connect Program. I have been educating these teams and legacy ViaWest partners about the world-class portfolio of cloud solutions that made INetU a leader in the IT space. Likewise, I have been educating legacy INetU partners about the complementary solutions that ViaWest excels in, including data center and colocation solutions, as well as security, DevOps and managed services. The integration has been smooth, and the two legacy organizations combined have achieved a remarkable level of growth for the combined channel program in 2016.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
I am focusing on educating and enabling partners on selling the full breadth of ViaWest solutions, ranging from cloud solutions to colocation services. We will help partners assist their clients with transforming their IT infrastructure. We are enabling client success through virtualization, integration and automation solutions.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
ViaWest 2016 Innovation Day 1st place winner - this is a companywide event that encourages teams to create tools, systems, and processes to automate a task. Jeanine and her team took the time to build out a report to automate a lengthy partner payment down to minutes.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I admire Rachel Brathen aka, Yoga Girl. Rachel started from next to nothing and built a brand for herself. With more than 2 million followers, her amazing can-do attitude, inner beauty and love for life inspire everyone she touches. Rachel is an entrepreneur who has created a world-wide yoga community. Rachel has been traveling the world hosting workshops, retreats, and classes. She recently built her own brick and mortar yoga studio in Aruba, and it opened weeks before her first baby was born. I admire Rachel's entrepreneurial spirit and her passion to share her love with everyone she meets.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
It's your world and you have the opportunity to make a difference. Be confident in yourself, even if you're unsure. Do things wholeheartedly, and don't be afraid to fail. Always keep learning to keep yourself sharp. And last but not least, never give up hope!

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
I'd be Tris (Beatrice) from the Divergent Trilogy. I love Tris and her desire to find change in her world to make the environment a better place. She is a strong, courageous and powerful woman.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
One city all expenses paid is incredibly hard to choose, but I'd have to choose Shanghai. I've always wanted to go to China, and Shanghai would be an amazing place to experience the culture.
