Biography and Background:
Maitjian Welke has 20+ years experience in the IT Industry with a Computer Science degree and a wealth of experience building and managing IT Solutions. She has been a successful Software Executive for fortune 500 companies as well as at start-up in Silicon Valley. She and her husband Todd Welke founded CMIT Solutions Silicon Valley in 2009 and acquired CMIT Solutions Greater Palo Alto in 2012.

How have you personally helped advance your company's channel business over the past year?
Maitjian has establised new Channel partnerships this past year to grow the business which resulted in increased of revenue.

What are your goals for your company's channel business over the next year?
The goal for our channel business is to double this next year.

What honors, awards or commendations have you won over the past year?
Women of the Channel 2016.

Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
Katherine Johnson (NASA). After watching the movie Hidden Figures, Katherine Johnson has to be on top of my list of her critical contribution to the NASA space program and Apollo mission.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
I would totally encourage that as I am one. My advice is to be curious and learn about technology, start with the day to day technology gadgets that you and your dads are using.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Katherine Johnson (NASA) because of her gift in Math.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
At this point, Osaka in Japan. Beautiful place and the history.
