My favorite type of boss [has been those that are] extremely engaged in the business or team they're running, and has vision and inspires those around them to be more than they can be on their own. They encourage teamwork and individualized expertise in terms of how that expertise empowers the team to produce and achieve. They're also someone who takes the time to get to know those around them and is willing to celebrate big when things go really right, as well as provide support, and encouragement when things don't.  Great leaders push us out of our comfort zones, encouraging us to try more things and be more vulnerable.
