Work life balance is different for each of us. It will also change throughout your career. My advice is two-fold. First, figure out what helps you personally stay balanced; family, friends, charity, exercise, hobbies, chocolate…and keep them close. Second, take time for yourself. Make yourself a priority including getting rest, keeping those ever-important annual doctor visits and taking frequent breaks. Even a short break, like a walk around the block or lunch with a friend can help reset the 'energy' button.
