Solution providers in particular often find themselves vetting new vendors and products to include in their portfolios for their customers in every region. Identifying the right vendor partners can be a challenge, Presidio's Curtis said.
"When it comes down to which technology to actually go with, you have to simplify and go with what technology will help me solve what I'm trying to do for a business," she said. "It's not about one vendor solution now, you're looking at 15 different solutions, and it's a lot to digest. It's about filtering out which ones you see something different in that will make a difference, and that you can incorporate into your business."
