Carrie Maslen, vice president of sales operations at Samsung Business, has had over 30 years of experience in the channel – and has a wealth of knowledge to offer on what it means to be a woman in the technology industry.
Maslen, who has held leadership roles at SAP and HP prior to her current role, is responsible for overseeing the operational alignment of Samsung’s business and channel. She has been focused on enabling enterprises to use technology to grow their business.
Beyond technology, however, Maslen has learned several important lessons about the challenges and opportunities for women in the channel. Following are excerpts of CRN's conversation with Maslen.
