The Need For Women Entrepreneurs

Although more women are taking on executive roles in the IT world, there still aren't many female entrepreneurs, said Lynn Child, founder, president and CEO of fast-growing Findlay, Ohio-based solution provider CentraComm.

"I do see over the years that there are more women in IT, but I do not see more women who are entrepreneurs that started from an idea and created something from nothing," said Child, who is also chairman and CEO of the web and application development company Aardvark.

In an interview with CRN's Women of The Channel, Child talks about becoming a business entrepreneur and her advice for women looking to do the same.
