Remember the good old days when cloud computing was the largest disrupter the channel had to worry about? Now solution providers are grappling with a number of technologies that are precipitating business model shifts: the Internet of Things, software-defined networking (SDN) and mobility to name a few, all in the midst of wide-scale industry changes such as the Dell-EMC acquisition. And of course many solution providers are still working hard to move their businesses toward cloud computing and recurring revenue as they morph into strategic service providers. With all of that as a backdrop, four solution providers spoke at last week's Women of the Channel Leadership Summit East in a panel discussion moderated by Carolyn Cox, vice president of Americas marketing and global campaigns at ServiceNow, about how their companies are dealing with the impact from all of these disruptive forces.
