Things To Be Thankful For: Power of Community

Women of the Channel launches new leadership community to bring women in tech together.

This time of year, I try to take a moment to acknowledge what makes me truly thankful. For me, it’s about thinking of someone in your life or your career that has helped you along the way and showing them gratitude and thanks by calling, emailing, texting or writing a handwritten letter.

It’s that power of community that’s inspired us to launch the Women of the Channel Leadership Network.

This community is built on members who feel they are a part of something bigger than themselves with a shared goal and purpose. To build this community requires the ability to see the worth in oneself and the value in others. The power of this community is inspiring and energizing.

The WOTC Leadership Network:

  • Unites women from all levels and delivers the content and connections needed to succeed in their organizations and reach their personal and professional goals.
  • Offers a platform and space to house all activities around WOTC initiatives under one roof – helping to bridge the gap between WOTC live events, editorial lists and coverage and community engagement.
  • Allows members to be a part of a more inclusive, ongoing network that offers the resources to develop and advance their skills, share ideas and network with peers making a significant impact on the IT channel.
  • Includes membership benefits such as interactive peer networking groups, webinars, trainings, mentorship and education—all focused on the challenges, trends and opportunities in the today’s technology sector.

The Women of the Channel Leadership Network is launching December 8, 2020. We hope you will become a member of this new community! If you have any questions about joining please email me at acohen@thechannelcompany.com.
