Outside of your family, please name a woman you admire and why:
I could write a long list of women who have made a tremendous impact on business, art, society and technology, but if I were to choose only one, I admire Mother Teresa based on her character. She dedicated her entire life to helping the poor, suffering and disenfranchised, and remains a global icon for selfless giving and service to others.

What advice would you give to young women who want to begin careers in technology?
An important starting point is a good education around technology and industry - one that's not limited to classroom studies. Don't be afraid to seek out alternative sources of information, to self-educate, to join groups, and to conduct online research. These are all effective means for accelerating your career. The broader your knowledge around technology, routes to market, and industry trends, the more valuable you become to any company. Furthermore, combine that knowledge and preparation with focus, dedication and continued motivation to develop your career. Always look at what is possible. There are never any challenges, only opportunities.

If you could be any movie character for one day in real life, who would you be and why?
Princess Leia of Star Wars. Not only did she jet around the universe visiting new, different and exciting planets, but she did so as a strong, independent and fearless female leader.

If you could travel to a city you've never been to before, all expenses paid, where would you go and why?
Johannesburg, South Africa. Having already toured the remarkable, coastal Garden Route, I can attest to the country's natural beauty. But it was an experience that only made me want to explore further. A long-time bucket list item has been to go on safari and see the diverse wildlife that Kruger National Park supports and protects.
